The 2025 Packing Party will be held Wednesday, November 12th with a potluck meal at 6:00 and packing beginning at 6:30!
We love partnering with Samaritan's Purse to participate in Operation Christmas Child (OCC) each year!
Our congregation collects items all year to place inside shoeboxes for OCC. We join together for a Packing Party each November where we fill as many shoeboxes as we can with items to send to children in need around the world.
Newington is also a Collection Site for Operation Christmas Child. Each November during OCC Collection Week, we receive the shoeboxes packed by churches, individuals, and other groups in our community to take them to the processing center.
